Moon's Lawn Service and Landscaping

About Moon's Lawn Service and Landscaping

Pana's downtown is brick and storefront glass, and in January the sidewalk out front is the difference between an open business and a closed one. Moon's Lawn Service and Landscaping takes on both halves of that year — snow plowed and walks shoveled while it is still dark, grass mown and trimmed and edged once the ground finally thaws. The satisfaction lives in the after: bare concrete underfoot, a lot with square corners, a lawn with a border you could have drawn with a straightedge. Nothing about weather in this part of Illinois is gentle, yet a property can still look cared for on a Tuesday in February. That is the entire idea, repeated every week of the year.
