About Platinum Snow Removal, LLC

February in Palatine takes on a color after midnight: everything silver, the streetlights doubled in the ice, the snow lying blue across the yards. Platinum Snow Removal, LLC works in that light, plowing driveways and lots, clearing walks and steps, and putting down salt where a refreeze would otherwise glaze a surface by morning. Cold this deep changes the work, because snow that fell wet at nine o'clock has set like plaster by two. Getting under it before that happens is the difference between one easy pass and an hour of chipping. Come daylight the pavement is dark and dry, and the night's argument with the weather is invisible.
