Grounds Group

About Grounds Group

An Alberta clipper doesn't announce itself; it just drops out of the northwest overnight, dry and fast, and by four in the morning Palatine is holding three inches nobody planned for. Grounds Group works that window, plowing lots, opening drive lanes, clearing entry walks and laying salt along the office drives off Hicks Road before the first cars turn in. Snow removal is a trade measured in hours nobody sees: the storm arrives at midnight, the ground is open by six, and the day proceeds as though nothing happened. That invisibility is the achievement. Everything else is a blade, a shovel, and being awake when it counts.
