1st Home Lawn Care

About 1st Home Lawn Care

The first cut of the year in Palatine arrives sometime in April, when the ground along Plum Grove Road finally firms up and the grass goes from gray-green to something that wants attention. 1st Home Lawn Care works that turn and every week after it, mowing and edging the yards of this Cook County village until the lines run true from the front walk to the property line. There is a particular satisfaction in the moment a shaggy lawn resolves into stripes, when a plain rectangle of grass suddenly reads as a kept place. Trimming along fences and foundations, cleanups when the maples finally let go, and the steady rhythm of a mowing route make up the work. Palatine's yards are mostly modest and mostly loved, and this is lawn care built to match them.
