About Stohr's Lawn Service, Inc

March in Ottawa is a negotiation — river ice letting go, the last gray drift shrinking beside a north-facing garage, and the grass underneath deciding whether it is ready to come back. Stohr's Lawn Service, Inc works both sides of that line, plowing, clearing walks and treating ice all winter, then moving to mowing, trimming, edging and spring cleanup once the ground firms up. The changeover is the busiest stretch of the calendar and the most satisfying, because a property goes from bare and battered to green and squared away in a matter of weeks. Winter in this valley is not gentle, and the summers are not shy either. Handling both, on the same properties, is the work.
