Pavers & More

About Pavers & More

In Ottawa the Fox River pours into the Illinois, and on a January night the cold sinks low along both, laying snow across the city before anyone stirs. Pavers & More works those dark hours, plowing driveways and clearing walks so Ottawa's mornings begin with open pavement instead of drifts. There's a craft to it: straight lines down a drive, a path shoveled wide enough for two, snow stacked where it can't slide back. Around Washington Square, where Lincoln and Douglas held their first debate, winter mornings still start quietly, and a cleared walk is its own small courtesy. When daylight finally lifts over the river valley, the job is already finished.
