Neilson Lawn Maintenance

About Neilson Lawn Maintenance

Ottawa's older streets run beneath big oaks and silver maples, and by September the shade lawns under them need a different hand than the ones baking in full sun. Neilson Lawn Maintenance mows, trims and edges through the season, adjusting height and pace to what each yard is actually doing instead of to a single setting. Later on the work turns to leaves — the steady clearing that keeps turf breathing until the ground goes hard. There is a particular pleasure in the last pass of an afternoon, when the lines run true, the walk is blown clean, and the yard has gone quiet. That quiet is the product.
