About Grand Rapids Enterprises Inc.

Snow in LaSalle County does not simply fall; it travels. It comes across the open sections north of Ottawa on a hard wind, fills the cut of a road within the hour, and rebuilds a drift about as fast as it can be moved. Grand Rapids Enterprises Inc. handles that work — plowing lots and drives, opening walkways, and laying salt where ice sets up along the shaded edges. The job runs on the storm's clock rather than the calendar's, which means heading back out at two in the morning because the wind swung and the lane closed again. Nothing looks better at sunrise than black pavement with the banks pushed clean to the far end of it.
