About Riechmann Bros. LLC

Southern Illinois winter is a coin toss: Okawville can go a week in the fifties and then take four inches overnight, or worse, an inch of ice that glazes everything from the interstate to the front step. Riechmann Bros. LLC runs the plow for that country, opening farm lanes and town driveways out where the wind has a mile of stubble field to work with. The measure of a night is simple — the drive cleared before dawn, the walk scraped and treated, nobody standing in the yard wondering how to get out. Wet snow here comes heavy and sets up fast, so timing matters as much as equipment. From the blocks around the old springs hotel out toward Addieville and New Minden, that is the winter's work.
