Hall's Handyman Services

About Hall's Handyman Services

Oakwood sits a few minutes from Kickapoo, where old mine ground has filled in with clear ponds and the Middle Fork runs green through the timber. Hall's Handyman Services mows the village lots and the country places along the Salt Fork, where a yard can be half sun and half oak shade and needs a different height in each. Summer settles into a weekly rhythm, and the payoff is standing out at the road afterward, seeing one continuous stripe from mailbox to garage. Trimming takes care of the fence posts, the culvert ends and the propane tank, and then an edge cut gives the drive its line back. In spring the beds get cleared, and by late October the leaves off the river timber have blown across every lawn in this corner of Vermilion County and want gathering.
