Lauger’s Lawn Care

About Lauger’s Lawn Care

There is no hill to hide behind in Oak Park, so the sky does all the drama — and by mid-afternoon in November it stacks up slate-colored over Ridgeland Avenue. Lauger's Lawn Care reads that sky for a living. Through the green season the mower runs, the trimmer follows and the edge gets drawn; then come the leaves, and then the shift to plow, shovel and salt, over and back until the last storm of the year has passed. The best part of a snow night is the morning after it, when a driveway stands open and the person who owns it never once had to think about it. Come April the same yards get their first cut and the whole round begins again.
