ELM Landscapes

About ELM Landscapes

By late October the parkways along Gunderson Avenue are ankle-deep, and the row of matching porches looks like lanterns hung under bare branches. ELM Landscapes takes a property through that handoff — the last mowings, the leaves gathered and gone, the beds put down for the cold — and then keeps the same addresses open once the weather turns hard. Snow work in Oak Park is close work: front walks, stoops, and the short drives that run back along the house to the garage. What ELM is after is a property that never looks abandoned by the season, only passed from one hand to the next. Spring returns to this village in a hurry, and the yards that were minded in November are the ones that show it first.
