1st Class Grass

About 1st Class Grass

Mid-May in O'Fallon and the maples along the older streets have closed their canopy overhead, so the mowing happens in green shade. 1st Class Grass works those blocks in the shadow of the water tower, cutting straight lines and edging the walks until the boundary between grass and concrete is a drawn line rather than a guess. Trimming and cleanups carry the yards out through the growing months. Then the year swings, the plows go on, and the same driveways get opened before the coffee is finished, walks cleared down to the step, salt laid where the shade holds ice past noon. It is lawn and snow work for O'Fallon and the towns pressed up against it.
