About Scully Maintenance
August, and the green by the Norwood Park fieldhouse is holding on mostly out of habit. Scully Maintenance keeps the neighborhood's lawns in that same stubborn condition — mowing high through the heat, clippings left down to feed the roots, trimming and edging so nothing looks neglected even when the weather is against it. Beds get weeded before the weeds can seed, and mulch is refreshed where the sun burned it thin. The weekly return is the trick; there really isn't another one. Come Labor Day, the lawns that were mowed right in July are the ones still standing.
