About Hernández Group Landscape

Lake Michigan does not soften the winter in North Chicago; it sharpens it. Wind comes straight off the water, over the ravines and across Sheridan Road, and lays the snow down in ridges that have to be broken before anyone gets anywhere. Hernández Group Landscape plows drives and lots, shovels the walks and entry steps, and salts whatever refreezes once the sun goes down. There is something worth seeing in a lot scraped to bare asphalt at six in the morning, steam rising off it while the lake is still dark. The work runs through North Chicago and the Lake County towns beside it, one storm at a time.
