Total Lawn Perfection

About Total Lawn Perfection

Most storms in central Illinois do their real work overnight, which means the job happens under headlights, in a cab, with the wipers losing ground. Total Lawn Perfection takes those hours in and around Normal — plowing lots and drives, clearing walks, laying salt on the spots that ice over first and refreeze last. Flat country lets the wind push snow back across everything you just opened, so the route gets run again, and the second pass matters as much as the first. Then the sky goes pale, the storm quits, and the pavement is there again: dark, wide, edged with neat banks. Watching a town wake up to that is a decent way to end a night.
