About Buddy's Grounds Maint., Inc

At four in the morning Uptown Normal is a circle of empty streetlight and falling snow, the brick crosswalks disappearing under it inch by inch. Buddy's Grounds Maint., Inc runs through that hour so the town can pretend the storm was never a problem — lots opened, walks cut through, entrances salted and passable before the first car turns in. Plowing, driveway and sidewalk clearing, ice control and seasonal snow service carry McLean County properties from the first flake to the last thaw. The best part of the job is invisible: someone arrives at seven, parks, walks in, and never thinks about it once. That silence is the whole point, and it is earned in the dark.
