Down on Haines Avenue the village wakes early — the Metra platform fills, the coffee goes out the door, and whatever the weather did overnight becomes everybody's problem at once. Stooges Landscaping meets both versions of that morning. In April it is beds cut back and the first mow of the year, edges reopened along the walks, the trimmer tracing every fence line until the lawn has a border again. In January it is headlights and a raised blade, drives plowed and walks scraped, salt spread so the way to the car is honest footing instead of a gamble. Same streets, same crews, two seasons of keeping New Lenox looking after itself.
