About Pro-Scapes Inc

The Old Plank Road Trail is an old rail line turned footpath, and after a storm it lies across New Lenox like a white ribbon pulled straight. Pro-Scapes Inc is out ahead of the first walkers, running plows down driveways and lots while the sky is still the color of dishwater and the village is deciding whether to wake. There is a real satisfaction in the geometry of the work — the banked windrow set where it belongs, the shoveled path to the door, the ice broken up and treated before it can turn a step into a fall. Snow arrives fast over this flatland and packs hard under tires, so the timing matters as much as the blade. By breakfast the crossings and driveways are open, and the day gets to begin on schedule.
