About Archer Creek Landscaping LLC

In New Berlin the horizon is something the land settled long ago — flat, black-soiled, ruled off into section roads, with the grain elevator standing above the treeline like a held note. Archer Creek Landscaping LLC works the lawns inside that wide country, where a mown yard reads clean and deliberate against a mile of corn. Mowing, trimming, edging, bed upkeep, spring and fall cleanups: the ordinary work that gives a small Sangamon County village its tidy grain. There is a real satisfaction in the last pass beside a driveway, the line so straight it seems to argue with the fields behind it. When the light goes long and low across the county, the yards along the village streets hold their stripes right up until dark.
