Summer on this prairie is mostly sky, thunderheads stacking in the west by afternoon and a warm rain that pushes every yard up another half inch overnight. Baker's Lawncare works between those systems, mowing while the ground will still hold a wheel and coming back the day it dries. Out here a lawn shares its edges with field and gravel, so the trim line matters: straight along the drive, close around the mailbox post, tight to the foundation. Clippings stay out of the gravel and off the walk. It is a green square held against a very large landscape, and holding it well is the entire job.
