LAWN PERFECTION

About LAWN PERFECTION

By noon in July the corridor between Murphysboro and Carbondale shimmers off the blacktop, and the bottomland grass is growing faster than anyone quite believes. LAWN PERFECTION mows into that heat, laying down even stripes, running the trimmer along fence lines, cutting a hard edge where the drive meets the turf. Fertilizer and weed control land on the weeks that count, because grass in this valley will reward attention and punish neglect inside a single humid stretch. When fall comes the mower gives way to cleanup, leaves off the beds and off the lawn before winter presses them flat. What stays with you is how it looks afterward, the whole yard reading clean from the road.
