Henry's Lawn Care

About Henry's Lawn Care

Early June, a Saturday, and Mount Vernon wakes up slowly — a sprinkler, a screen door, bells somewhere over on the next street. Henry's Lawn Care is already three yards in, mowing tight around swing sets and flowerbeds, trimming whatever the mower had to leave behind. It is neighborhood work, the kind where you learn which gate sticks and which dog barks. The finish is honest: the strip between sidewalk and curb cut as carefully as the front, the clippings off the drive, the gate latched on the way out. Grass here comes on strong after a warm rain, and they keep pace with it week for week.
