About Bemis Lawn Service, inc

Brown County is hills and timber and pasture, and Mount Sterling sits up in the middle of it with its square and its deep-shaded yards. Bemis Lawn Service, inc works that ground the year around — mowing, trimming and cleaning up through the green months, then plowing drives, shoveling walks and salting the slick places once the west-central Illinois cold arrives. Snow doesn't lie flat on rolling country; it packs into the hollows and the north sides, and clearing it well is mostly a matter of knowing where. Summer has its own knack: cutting a slope so the lines stay even the whole way down. Both jobs end the same, with a place open and orderly and ready for whoever comes up the drive.
