Climbin' Tough Tree Service

About Climbin' Tough Tree Service

Mount Morris stands on the Ogle County uplands with a green at its middle, and a few miles west the native white pines rise over Pine Creek where the ground falls away toward the Rock River. Climbin' Tough Tree Service goes up into the big hardwoods around town — bur oaks holding the fence lines, ash and elm, the maples along the streets off the square. The work is tree trimming and pruning that gives a crown room to move in the wind, tree removal for the trees that have quit, and storm damage cleanup on the mornings after a front tears down the valley. There is a particular quiet at the end of a good job: saws off, chips swept up, sunlight coming through a canopy opened just enough. Winter proves it, when the limbs carry ice without complaint.
