Hancock Mowing

About Hancock Mowing

The Wabash makes the eastern edge of Mount Carmel, wide and brown and always moving, and the bluff above it hands you the whole valley at once. Hancock Mowing works the town and the ground around it in both directions of the year: mowing, trimming and cleanup while the river bottoms are humming with summer, then plowing, shoveling and salting when a cold front drops down out of the north. Nothing looks better at the end of a long week than a lawn cut level with the edges cut sharp. Nothing feels better in February than a drive opened while the porch light is still the only light on the block. Two kinds of weather, one standard for finishing a job.
