About Staley Lawncare and Landscaping

Every September, Morton fills up with pumpkins and the whole village smells faintly of them, and the lawns along the festival streets get looked at by a great many visitors at once. Staley Lawncare and Landscaping keeps that ground in shape all the way around the calendar — mowing, trimming, edging, fertilizing, and hauling leaves off once the fields have been picked over and the wind swings cold. Then the orange goes away, the ground turns to iron, and the trucks go out with plows and salt to open drives, walks and lots. Same properties, same people, a different set of tools in the bed. It is satisfying at both ends: a yard worth stopping to look at, and a drive cleared before dawn.
