Some outfits start with a truck. This one starts with a mower and a Morton summer afternoon — side streets shimmering, sprinklers ticking, the smell of fresh clippings drifting two blocks ahead of whoever made it. A Boy and His Mower keeps to lawn care at a neighborhood pace: cutting, trimming around fences and mailbox posts, edging the drive, and clearing the clippings so nothing is left behind but lines. The village is small enough to learn by heart, and there is pride in knowing which yard slopes, which gate sticks, and which corner always jumps after a July rain. By evening the block reads tidy end to end, which is the entire point.
