About McTague Services

Fog lifts off the Illinois River on winter mornings and pours over the bank into the south end of Morris, and by then McTague Services has been plowing for hours. Snow work here means drives, walks and lots opened before the town starts moving, with salt laid down where the shade holds ice longest. In the warm months the same trucks are out cutting grass, trimming and edging, the ordinary weekly care that keeps a property looking looked-after. Two very different kinds of day, one standard: leave nothing half done. The river will go on doing what it does; the driveway will be clear.
