Peppers Enterprises

About Peppers Enterprises

When a system settles over the Rock River valley and simply keeps unloading, one pass is not a plan. Peppers Enterprises runs the loop again — in the evening, in the small hours, and once more before the alarm clocks go off — so nobody wakes up to eight inches where four had been cleared. Plowing the driveways, opening the walks, putting salt on the doorsteps and the concrete where it earns its keep. Between rounds the valley is dark and hushed and the snow comes straight down with no wind in it at all. Montmorency Township, Sterling, Rock Falls and the roads out toward Dixon.
