Bowman's Lawn Care

About Bowman's Lawn Care

On a June evening the light over the Piatt County courthouse square goes long and gold, and every mowed yard in town shows its stripes. Bowman's Lawn Care spends those weeks in it — mowing on a rhythm, trimming around posts and fences, edging along walks, and clearing the clippings so a yard looks finished from the sidewalk. Winter turns the same routes white, and the work becomes plowing drives, clearing walks and treating the ice that Monticello mornings are so good at making. It is plain work and it shows plainly: a clean line where the grass meets the drive, a path a person can cross without thinking about it. Serving Monticello and the nearby towns of Piatt County.
