The Old Plank Road Trail runs the length of Mokena on an old rail bed, and by May its edges are as green as anything in Will County. Spring Green looks after lawns through that stretch of the year — mowing on a steady cycle, edging drives and walks, trimming the corners a mower cannot reach, and clearing yards at each end of the growing season. A lawn cut at the right height stands up better to August, and the difference shows from the street.
