About Groundskeeper Landscape Care

The first train out of Mokena leaves early, and in January the platform and the lots around it have to be open before anyone reaches them. Groundskeeper Landscape Care spends winter nights on that schedule, plowing lots and drives, shoveling walkways, and laying ice melt where the wind scours a path bare and slick. There is craft in reading a lot — where to stack the piles so they do not melt back across the pavement, where meltwater runs and refreezes by morning. A clean square of blacktop under the lights is a small thing, done right. In Mokena that is the whole job, storm after storm.
