About Charley’s Landscaping Co.

Spring announces itself along the timber edges here, wild plum and redbud coloring the fencelines before the fields have dried enough to work. Charley's Landscaping Co. reads that as the starting gun: first cuts on Milton yards, bed edges opened up fresh, trimming around porches and mailboxes and the maple somebody's grandfather planted. Through summer the routine holds, week after week, until the lawns go dormant and the hills west of town turn rust and gold. It is ordinary work done attentively, and the result is easy to see from the road — a tidy yard on a country lot, holding its shape. Charley's keeps lawns in Milton and the surrounding Pike County towns looking that way.
