Green Acres Lawn and Snow

About Green Acres Lawn and Snow

Milan grew up where the Rock River makes its last unhurried turn toward the Mississippi, and weather in the Quad Cities arrives the same way — slow, then all at once. Green Acres Lawn and Snow keeps both ends of the calendar: mowing, trimming and cleanup through the river-valley humidity, plowing and salt when the overnight cold glazes the blacktop. A drive opened before the first headlights leave the block is its own kind of quiet pride. July offers a different reward — a lawn striped straight, the edges cut sharp along the walk, the smell of it hanging over the street until dark. Same hands, two seasons, one address at a time.
