Metamora is built around its square, with the old courthouse sitting there under big trees that let go all at once every October. Schlueter Bros Lawn Care works the town through that shoulder season and every other — mowing and trimming in the growing months, leaf and yard cleanup when the branches quit, plows and shovels once winter takes over the sidewalks.
