About Kacir's Tree Services

Metamora keeps its old courthouse on the square and its old trees along the streets that lead away from it, and the two belong together. Kacir's Tree Services works those streets and the timbered ravines dropping off toward the Illinois — pruning for structure, trimming whatever crowds a porch or a power drop, removing the ones that cannot be brought back. Woodford County weather does not negotiate, so when a summer storm comes through and lays limbs across a lawn, storm damage cleanup follows the first day it can. The work you want is invisible from the sidewalk: a crown thinned so evenly it simply reads as healthy. Around here that lands as respect — for the tree, and for the street it has been standing on.
