About Robert Shoveling Services

Some snow has to be moved by hand, and that work starts before the streetlights go off. Robert Shoveling Services shovels around Melrose Park, front walks and stoops and steps, the path from the door out to the car, the stretch of public sidewalk a neighbor has to cross. A plow blade cannot reach a gangway or a set of back stairs, but a shovel and a bag of salt can. On a block of close-set houses a cleared walk is a small courtesy that travels a long way, especially for anyone who cannot do it themselves. By the time the buses are running, the ice by the gate is gone and there is bare concrete underfoot.
