Steven Scott's Lawn Care & Landscape

About Steven Scott's Lawn Care & Landscape

By the middle of July the corn stands taller than the mowers east of Springfield, and Mechanicsburg sits inside it like a green island. Steven Scott's Lawn Care & Landscape works the cool ends of those days — mowing, trimming, edging, bed edges recut and mulch refreshed so the plantings read clean from the street. Evening comes on slowly out here, fireflies lifting out of the ditch grass, and the last yard of the day gets the best of the light. Spring and fall bring the cleanups, and in between it is feeding and weed control keeping the turf even. This Sangamon country grows grass generously; the work is meeting it halfway, every week.
