McLeansboro is the county seat of Hamilton County, a courthouse-square town ringed by farm fields in the southern reaches of Illinois. After a wet spring the ground here can turn heavy and stubborn, with ruts across a lane, low spots holding water and yards that need reshaping before grass will take. Bucky's Bucket Service & Dirtwork puts a bucket and a steady hand to that kind of job, moving earth where it belongs and leaving it graded smooth. Then comes the lawn care that keeps the finished ground looking right. There's a deep satisfaction in watching rough dirt turn level and green under a wide Hamilton County sky.
