About SnowMotion LLC

There is nothing between Mattoon and the horizon to stop a February wind, and that is why snow here rarely stays where it landed. SnowMotion LLC plans for exactly that habit — plowing the drives and lots first, then coming back for the drift that rebuilds itself across an open approach an hour later. Piles get placed with the wind in mind, on the downwind side, so today's stack does not become tomorrow's problem. Walks and entryways are cleared to full width and treated where the freeze sets hard overnight, because on the prairie the cold outlasts the storm by days. Winter out here is a long, blunt argument, and there is genuine satisfaction in taking the other side of it.
