Frank's Lawn care and Snow Removal

About Frank's Lawn care and Snow Removal

Mattoon began as a crossing of two railroads, and a town built on schedules keeps them: the horns still sound across the neighborhoods at all hours, and the ground on either side of those tracks still needs looking after. Frank's Lawn care and Snow Removal works both halves of the calendar here — mowing, trimming, and edging through the green months, then plowing, clearing walks, and treating ice once the prairie wind turns. Summer in Coles County is high and humid and grass grows accordingly; winter is open and blunt, and snow crosses the flat with no interest in stopping. Handling the same property in both conditions means a place is never handed off, never relearned, never half-known. Keeping a yard sharp in July and a drive open in January is one continuous job, done for the same people.
