Kingslawn

About Kingslawn

When a winter storm crosses Matteson overnight, the town wakes buried and hushed, Lincoln Highway reduced to tire tracks and the Old Plank Road Trail lost under clean white drifts. Kingslawn is already out before dawn, blade down, turning heaped driveways back into bare pavement while the streetlights still glow amber. A drive opened at four in the morning is a quiet gift: no shovel, no spinning tires, just a straight path to the street. Walks and steps get cleared too, so mail carriers and early risers can come and go easily. Let the snow keep the trail beautiful; at home, the way out is already open.
