Total Lawn Care

About Total Lawn Care

The ground around Mason City is sand — old river-laid soil that drains nearly as fast as the rain falls, which is why the pivots turn all summer out in the fields. Lawns on that soil ask for a different touch: cut a little high through August so the roots keep their shade, trimmed and edged sharp because sandy borders blur the moment you let them. Total Lawn Care runs the mowing schedule straight through that dry-then-drenched Mason County summer and handles the cleanups when spring debris and autumn leaves pile up. There is a particular pleasure in a level, deep-green yard on ground that would honestly rather grow melons. Mason City, Easton, San Jose and Havana are all within reach.
