About Dr. Green's Lawn Pros.

The old canal runs straight through the middle of Marseilles, cottonwoods leaning over it, and by midsummer everything within a block of that water is growing at full tilt. Dr. Green's Lawn Pros. keeps pace with it — mowing on a schedule the grass cannot outrun, edging where turf tries to creep over concrete, trimming the fence lines back to a clean seam. Between the canal, the river below, and the prairie farm ground north of town, a single week's route can run from shaded and damp to wide open and baking. Adjusting to each one, yard by yard, is what keeps the results even across a town with that much variety. A lawn that looks composed in the heat of July is a small, real accomplishment, and it is the one being chased here.
