Scenic Landscape

About Scenic Landscape

Snow rarely falls straight down around Manteno; the wind lifts it off the open cornfields and lays it back across driveways in long, hard drifts. Scenic Landscape reads those drifts before the sun does, clearing and salting so the first car out at six meets bare pavement instead of a wall. Come April the same properties ask for a different kind of attention — mowing, edging and cleanups that pull the village back into shape after a gray stretch. There is a plain pleasure in handing someone their driveway back, and another in the first cut of the year, when a yard finally looks like itself again. Both jobs are the same idea underneath: making a place easy to live in.
