About Accelerated Landscaping & Forestry Cutting LLC

Fog fills the hollows toward Little Grassy on an October morning and lifts to show a ridge line going every color the Shawnee has. Accelerated Landscaping & Forestry Cutting keeps Makanda properties in order underneath all of that — regular mowing, edged walks and trimmed fence lines through the long green season, then leaf and brush cleanups as the woods let go. When ice or snow comes over the hills, the same equipment clears drives, lots and walkways and treats what stays slick in the shadow of the bluffs. Out here a well-kept clearing ringed by timber looks like an argument won, and holding that line is the pleasure of the work. Makanda and the surrounding Jackson County communities are the territory.
