A.B. Lawn Care

About A.B. Lawn Care

Macomb gathers itself around the courthouse square, brick and limestone holding the first flat light of a western Illinois morning. A.B. Lawn Care runs the streets that spoke out from that square — mowing, trimming and edging, then carrying the clippings away so a yard reads finished instead of merely cut. There is real pleasure in the line where turf meets sidewalk, straight as a section road and held all summer. Thunderheads stack over the fields west of town most July afternoons, so the work goes down early and the storm finds a lawn already squared away. Spring and fall cleanups bookend it, and the yards of McDonough County open and close each year in order.
