About Slabaugh Services Inc

Out toward Rock Cut the oaks go bare early, and the wind crossing open ground north of town finds every driveway it can drift shut. Slabaugh Services runs plows through those weeks, opening residential drives and commercial lots and stacking the piles where they will not block a sight line or melt back across the pavement. Walks, steps and entryways get hand work, then ice control where people actually put their feet. Anyone who has pulled into a lot already scraped and treated at daybreak knows the whole value of the thing. Machesney Park and the neighboring Winnebago County towns keep the trucks busy.
