About Nick's Lawncare & Landscaping Inc.

There is a dolomite prairie on the edge of Lockport where the soil lies thin over rock and the wildflowers come up anyway — proof that this ground has always been particular. Nick's Lawncare & Landscaping Inc. works with what Will County actually hands you: heavy clay, hot Augusts, and winters that show up all at once. Warm months mean mowing on schedule, trimming, edging and cleanups; cold months mean plowing drives, clearing walks and salting before the afternoon melt refreezes at dusk. The first cut of April stays the most satisfying forty minutes of the year, the whole yard changing character while you stand in it. After that it is every week until the last leaf is off the grass.
